Jaeger-LeCoultre is celebrating a story that defies laws of physics since the 1930s, with the Living On Air exhibition coming to Milan from April 8 to 13 in the historic centre at the Villa Mozart. Opened to the public, the exhibition, invites visitors in an immersive experience in four chapters, tracing back the fascinating story of an iconic perpetual clock - the Atmos, an extraordinarily unique, emotion-inspiring timekeeper.
Since its creation, Jaeger-LeCoultre has continuously refined the Atmos clock, leveraging the Manufacture’s watchmaking expertise to enhance its technical precision and its creative vision to elevate it into a prized objet d’art.
THE GENESIS
This first chapter recounts the tale of the centuries-long quest for perpetual motion.
THE MECHANISM
The visitors will discover the science defying physics behind its working in the second chapter.
THE DESIGN
In the third chapter, the artistry and mechanics behind each unique piece will be revealed.
