THE REVERSO STORIES

DISCOVER THE 1931 POLO CLUB

Jaeger-LeCoultre is paying tribute to the world of polo that inspired the creation of the Reverso. In the new Chadstone Boutique, from November 20th to 28th, you will discover the latest novelties, from new aesthetic interpretations of existing models to entirely new calibres, expressing each of the four Chapters of The Reverso Stories: The Story of an Icon, The Story of Style & Design, The Story of Innovation and The Story of Craftsmanship.

La Grande Maison pays homage to the genesis of the Reverso. From its fabled origin – an idea conceived on a polo field in India in 1930 – the Reverso has become an icon in the truest sense of the word. A design of rare longevity, with its unique reversible case, pure Art Deco lines and balanced proportions, the Reverso has remained eternally modern through more than 90 years of shifting tastes, social change and advancing technology.

Jaeger-LeCoultre is introducing a new collaboration under the Made of Makers programme with the Chocolate Craftsman Mathieu Davoine to celebrate the origins of the Reverso. You will discover an exclusive culinary experience at the 1931 Café with the chocolate delights the Chef Chocolatier created for La Grande Maison, paying homage to the origins of the Reverso by taking visual inspiration from the world of polo and to the home of Jaeger-LeCoultre by incorporating ingredients from the Vallée de Joux.
